Day 01
Arrive in Makassar at... We will fetch you from the airport and proceed to Toraja highland via Pare Pare. In the afternoon you can make a coffee break (optional) on Puncak Lakawang. Late afternoon we arrive in Rantepao. Overnight stay in hotel Marante in Rantepao,Toraja Highland.
Day 02
Rantepao. Full day excursions in Toraja. In the morning you will visit Lemo, where you will find rows of tau-tau and the hanging graves. Londa has an ancient natural grave where the deceased are entombed with big ceremonies. Kete Kesu is a traditional Torajan village, where we can see the Tongkonan houses and the old ricebarns ad it is famous for its woodcarving. Overnight stay in hotel Marante in Rantepao,Toraja Highland.
Day 03
Rantepao. Another full day excursions in Toraja highland. This day you will visit Pallawa, Sa'dan, the weaving center, Marante and Nanggala, a traditional Torajan village known for its large Tongkonan and 14 ricebarns. Overnight stay in hotel Marante in Rantepao,Toraja highland.
Day 04
Toraja - Makassar. After breakfast we drive back to Makassar. Upon arrival in Makassar there is a short city tour of the former Ujung Pandang, visiting the old Dutch Fortress Rotterdam and Paotere Achorage the old harbor home to the handsome Buginese Phinisi. Overnight stay in hotel Pantai Gapura in Makassar.
Day 05
Makassar - airport.. Today we transfer you to the airport for your flight to next destination.
