Situated among the magnificent islands of Lesser Sunda (Nusa Tenggara), Flores offers almost anything you want see: Unique cultures at traditional megalithic villages, Mt. Kelimutu volcano with its unique three colors lake, wildlife and marine life. The Portuguese who reached this island in the 15th Century gave the name Flores. 'Flores' means flowers, not by the Flowers grow on the land, but beneath the sea, coral, fishes and other marine lifes. The most beautiful coral reefs occur on the northern coast and western of the Island. Flores is 1.5 hours from Bali by Air. The most magnificent site is the three colored lakes of Kelimutu volcano. Each lake is a different color: blue, green and black. Other attractions include spectacular hand-woven textiles of Maumere, Ende-Lio, Ngada, the traditional megalithic village of Bena and other traditional villages in Ngada regency (Central Flores), and "Komodo dragons". This Island is home to hundreds of different ethnic groups who speak scores of languages, and is a sort of transition point between the Malay and Papuan races.
Day 01 Bali - Ende - Bena - Bajawa (L-D)
Hotel pick up at hotel Bali, transfer to the Airport for flight to ENDE. On arrival at the Airport in ENDE, will be pick up and welcomed by your guide. Lunch at local restaurant. After than continue the trip to Bajawa with stop at Bena visiting the traditional village. Dinner and overnight at Bintang Wisata or Similar Hotel.
Day 02 Bajawa - Soa - Riung (B-L-D)
After breakfast visit SOA, and enjoy the hot spring water. After than drive back continue the trip to Riung. Arrive at Riung direct sail to "Pulau Tujuh Belas" (Seventeen Island). Enjoy the snorkeling on white Sandy Beach of Rutong Island. Picnic lunch at Rutong Beach. Sail back to Kalong Island see the myrids of bat colony hanging on mangrove trees. Back to Riung, check in at Pondok SVD for dinner and overnight.
Day 03 Riung - Ende - Moni (B-L-D)
After breakfast, continue drive to Ende Nanga Penda to see the blue stone. Lunch at local restaurant. Drive back to Moni, direct check in at Flores Sare or Similar Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 04 Moni - Kelimutu - Maumere - Bali (B)
This trip will start at: 04.30 am, drive up to the Amazing three colored lake of Kelimutu. Also enjoy the panorama of sunrise. Back to hotel for breakfast, afterward continue the trip to Maumere. Arrive Maumere, direct transfer to the Airport Waioti for flight back to Bali. On arrival in Bali, transfer back to your original hotel.
